About the character

          Treever is a character that has an "alter ego," a Mad Scientist which is named Dr. Dorian Treever, who turned into part Labrador when he tried to do an experiment on his pet dog. As a result, their forms and personalities fused into one. 

          The costume has many accessories that go with his Mad Scientist personality, including goggles, rubber chemical gloves, an Erlenmeyer flask (often filled with dry ice, for effect), and of course a white lab coat. Outside of his clothing he assumes the Labrador personality.

About the costume

          Treever's head was built on a plastic canvas base and foam, and features a moving jaw. His eyes were made out of plastic bowl, and his irises are yellow glow-in-the-dark. His nose, teeth and claws are made with oven-bake Sculpy clay. His eyebrow whiskers are plastic "fiber optic" (from one of those novelty lamps). In the time I owned Treever, he had only been to one convention, Conifur Northwest 2005. But he's also made appearances to a few furmeets and Halloween parties.
